The renault brand is evolving its range with Kadjar, with the arrival of a new petrol engine, which complements the current offer.The crossover Kadjar has been enriched with a new petrol engine.
A new petrol engine with 165 horses
Renault has just announced the arrival of a new gasoline engine to his SUV Kadjar. This engine, Energy TCe 165, will equip the version BST and the limited series BLACK EDITION only, for respective prices 30,400 euros and 32.100 euro.
This new petrol powerplants is coupled to a manual gearbox six reports. It offers, according to the renault brand, beautiful times and a maximum torque of 240 Nm available at low engine speeds, from 2,000 minutes rounds, for 165 horses. On the consumption side, Renault announces 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres.
Additional power for the SUV family
As a reminder, the Kadjar is available for sale from June 2015. It was until then available in three engine variants different : two diesel dCi 110 and dCi 130, and a petrol TCe 130, which may be equipped with a version 4 wheel drive.
The Renault Kadjar is built on the same platform as the Nissan Qashqai. A car is more comfortable than dynamic, a good SUV for family. Let’s hope that the new engine will give the Kadjar additional power that lacked truly up to now.
